The Sovereign State of Versmark is a Micronation and independent state project that was founded April 21st, 2023. Versmark now has an extensive list of citizens, a developed government and a dedicated community. Versmark prides itself in its professionalism, unity and dedication.

Versmark is an Elective Constitutional Monarchy, with a dual-chamber Parliament and a government consisting of 9 Ministries. The House of Representatives is open for the public to run in elections, while the House of Lords is made up of nobles. The Head of State is the Monarch, who is styled as the Sovereign of Versmark.

Versmark was founded on April 21st 2023, but did not declare independence until the 1st of May. Most of the founding members of Versmark came from the recently dissolved Empire of Lehmark, after its Emperor decided to leave the project. In the early days of Versmark a group of former Lehmarkians decided to begin writing the Versmarkian Constitution. Originally the former Imperial Chancellor of Lehmark was selected to be Sovereign. After a refusal from her, Wald, now Wald I, was elected Sovereign.
